  • Overview

    The activated carbon regeneration equipment adopts external heating, and the entire regeneration system mainly consists of a control system, a special heat-resistant stainless steel cylinder, a furnace body, a feeding and discharging device, a mechanical transmission part, and insulation parts. Regenerating activated carbon in a rotary furnace results in very few mechanical failures during the rotation process, making operation and management relatively simple. Its characteristics are: large processing capacity, high degree of automation, continuous feeding and discharging, uniform and stable quality of regenerated products, easy operation and control, strong adaptability to materials, and low equipment failure

    Electric heating can be used, as well as natural gas and diesel heating.

    It can be widely applied in industries such as gold mines, chemical industry, and sewage treatment.

  • Working principle

    The activated carbon regeneration equipment heats the used activated carbon to a high temperature of 700-750 ℃, causing the organic impurities adsorbed on the surface of the carbon to decompose into substances such as CO2 and evaporate. 

    The activated carbon is then activated with high-temperature steam, thereby restoring the adsorption performance of the activated carbon to over 95%. 

    By using carbon regeneration equipment, activated carbon can be recycled and reused, reducing the use of new carbon by more than 70% and significantly lowering the production cost of carbon

    1. Fast heating and high heat utilization rate:
    This equipment is heated by a high-temperature electric furnace and uses the waste heat to preheat the regenerated carbon. The regeneration operation cost is low, and a new type of high-temperature resistant lightweight material is used as insulation material, which has the advantages of fast heating, high thermal efficiency, and energy saving;

    4. The furnace tube is made of high-temperature and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, which can ensure that it does not deform at a temperature of 1100 ℃.

    5. Special furnace structure, uniform heating, long and precisely controllable regeneration time, can be activated for 30-60 minutes, with stable and good regeneration effect.

    6. The average service life of high-end electric heating elements is over 5 years.

    7. The entire regeneration process realizes automatic and non-destructive transportation of carbon throughout the entire process, without the need for manual handling of carbon.

    8. High degree of automation, more precise constant temperature automatic control and regeneration temperature control: The automatic control system adopts PID control heating system, and the heating temperature automatic recorder can randomly record heating time, heating temperature, heating curve in a timely manner, so as to analyze and adjust technical parameters such as heating time and heating temperature;
